How to set up IPTV on iPhone & iPad (Smarters Player Lite)

You can watch your maxco. subscription on iPhone and iPad using a player from the App Store. The most common choice is Smarters Player Lite (IPTV Smarters for iOS). This guide covers installation and adding your account.

What you'll need

• An iPhone or iPad with iOS/iPadOS up to date
• An active maxco. subscription
• Your maxco. Server URL, Username, and Password (Xtream Codes) or M3U URL

Step 1 — Install the app

1. Open the App Store.
2. Search for "Smarters Player Lite" (or "IPTV Smarters").
3. Tap Get to install, then open the app and accept the terms if prompted.

On iPhone/iPad, always install from the official App Store. Don't install configuration "profiles" or apps from random download links.

Step 2 — Add your maxco. account (Xtream Codes — recommended)

1. Tap Add New User / the + icon.
2. Choose Login with Xtream Codes API.
3. Enter your Name (label), Username, Password, and Server URL exactly as provided by maxco.
4. Tap Add User. Your channels, movies and series load automatically.

Alternative — M3U URL

Choose Load Your Playlist or File/URL, enter a name, paste your maxco. M3U URL, and tap Add User.

Step 3 — EPG (TV Guide)

With Xtream Codes, the EPG usually loads automatically. If the guide is blank, open the app Settings TV Guide / EPG source, paste your maxco. EPG (XMLTV) URL if you have one, set refresh to every 24 hours, and refresh.

Step 4 — Start watching

Tap your profile to open Live TV, Movies and Series.

Troubleshooting

• Login fails: Re-check the Server URL (include http:// or https:// and port), Username and Password for hidden spaces. Open your M3U link in Safari — it should load text or download — to confirm it's valid.
• Buffering: Test 5 GHz Wi-Fi or a mobile hotspot; if it's smooth on hotspot but not home Wi-Fi, your network is the issue.
• Wrong guide times: Set iOS Date & Time to Automatic and confirm your time zone.
• App unavailable in your region: Search both "Smarters Player Lite" and "IPTV Smarters"; any App Store IPTV player supporting Xtream Codes / M3U works with the same steps.
